For our beer lovers, join us for a dinner collaboration with local brewery, Hop Valley Brewing Company on Wednesday, October 11 at 5:30pm at Ambrosia! Our chefs will create four courses to compliment beers from Hop Valley. Patrick Whiting, Master Brewer from Hop Valley will be there tell you about the beers and answer your questions. The featured beers are:
Dork Munder Lager
Hop Valley "geeked-out" on the the water profile of this premium lager, matching it to classic Dortmunder style of beer. The resulting hardened water is for hardworking peeps. Ahtanum hops yield hopped, delicate floral notes, while the malts are left simple.
Hoptober Lager
Hop Valley's take on traditional Marzen Lagers of Bavaria served during Oktoberfest. It has a rich, toasty, malty flavor accompanied by a slight hop bitterness and a smooth finish. With a low alcohol content, this amber lager is perfect for for a celebration. Prost!
Hop Valley Red Ale
Northwest style American Red ale with a complex malty backbone balanced by a generous amount of hops. This red ale is dry hopped to give it a floral hoppy finish.
Imperial Mistress
The "imperial" version of one Hop Valley's most popular beers, Citrus Mistress. Imperial Mistress features a combination of four hops known for their floral and citrusy characteristics and a small addition of grapefruit peel. The result is a citrus-packed punch that starts with a peachy apricot nose and transitions to the bitterness of grapefruit peel in the finish.
It's sure to be a great night with great beers and food! The cost is $45 per person plus gratuity. Seating is limited to 26 people. Make pre-paid reservation today by calling Ambrosia at 541-342-4141.
