A Benefit for the Give me Sight Foundation

Ambrosia Fundraiser to Benefit “Give Me Sight Foundation”

Listen to some great music while you support life-changing eye surgery at a fundraising event presented by Ambrosia Restaurant to benefit the “Give Me Sight Foundation”. Local ophthalmologist Dr. John Haines has been conducting eye camps all over the world since 1991 with just one goal: giving sight to the blind. He has performed more than 2000 surgeries in 11 countries. In 2012, he and his wife, Joy, started the Foundation to help fund these life-changing events.

In addition to being a surgeon, Dr. Haines is also a musician. He and his band, Strange Desserts, will perform some great tunes at the benefit on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 7 to 9 pm.  There is a cover charge of $10 per person all of which will be donated to the Give Me Sight Foundation. During intermission, Dr. Haines will speak briefly about this program.

Ambrosia is pleased to present this community event that will help so many see again. Come enjoy yourself, listen to some great tunes and help people; it will be well worth it on all accounts.
