Our next wine dinner will feature wines from Antinori and a five-course dinner prepared by Chef Jason Boyer and Kitchen Manager Eston Blackerby.

Based in Florence, Tuscany, Antinori has a history that dates back to 1385, when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the “Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri,” the Florentine Winemakers’ Guild. For more than 26 generations, Antinori’s philosophy has combined tradition and innovation—preserving Italy’s enological traditions while experimenting with new winemaking techniques. Today, Albiera Antinori serves as the president, supported by her two sisters, Allegra and Alessia. Together, they lead a growing number of women making strides in the male-dominated Italian wine industry.

Each of Antinori’s vineyards and estates has its own unique character and history, which we will explore during the wine dinner. Our presenters, Monica Aaron from Southern Wines and Jeff Wheeler from Antinori Wines, will share details about the Antinori family’s history, as well as insights into the terroir and winemaking process.
