Our next wine dinner will feature Pacific Northwest wines and a five-course dinner prepared by Chef Jason Boyer, Kitchen Manager Eston Blackerby, and the inimitable Ambrosia staff.
Ambrosia's wine dinner for September features some of the best from Oregon and Washington wineries, most have high ratings from Wine Spectator, James Suckling, and Jeb Dunnuck. Michaela Stewart from Chateau St. Michelle Estates, and Jesse Kennison, with Southern Wine Distributors, will speak about the wines and share a video presentation that will explain the impact of soil, weather, and harvest on the wines.
The menu is inspired by the bounty of late summer in the Pacific Northwest. You’ll find rich flavors, from the earthy sweetness of hazelnut sprouts and mild sweet onions to the deep, fruity intensity of black cherries and black plums. Crisp pears add a refreshing sweetness, creating a harmonious blend that captures the essence of the season's peak harvest.
